When you are introduced to someone, you can say:

 

Mucho gusto (I'm glad to meet you).

 

If the other person says Mucho gusto first, you can answer:  

 

Igualmente (Likewise)  or:  El gusto es mio (the pleasure is mine)  or Encantado(a):  (I'm charmed).

 

Dinner Party:

To welcome people:   Bienvendio/a/os/as

 

At meals (before)  say  Buen Provecho! (Enjoy your meal!)

 

To toast before drinking say  Salud!  (To your health!)

 

For celebrations:

 

Felicidades (congratulations)

 

Feliz cumpleanos (happy birthday)

 

Feliz navidad (Merry Christmas)

 

Feliz ano nuevo (Happy new year)

 

Feliz dia (any special day)
